Wow im so bad at this blogging thing. But lets see i checked in after the long run. Thursday went well, i wasnt too sore, and got some good cross training in! Friday i had an awesome 8 miles, 6 at tempo, the whole thing took me just under an hour. Not too bad! And then yesterday i cross trained. Not much, i only had 3 hours of sleep after the concert, and i was totally drained. But i caught up on my sleep last night, and im resting!(Sundays=Rest day). So Stoked for tommarow's 9!
On the core front, im beginning to see the beginnings of a 4 pack! finally!
This next week marks the final third of periodization on my plan, so i will be increasing speedwork, and decreasing hills. Getting close to marathon taper!!
Good news, weight has stabilized! Thanks to nutella:)

I'm Back!
Alright Im back! Summer school just started, so my schedule has been kinda crazy. Ive stuck with my schedule though, and my runs are going great! I did an easy 4 monday, cross train tuesday(loving weights now!!) and my lond run yesterday! 21 miles! Went really well, pain free, negative splits. In the heat, and i dont tolerate heat well. Im feeling pretty good today, so Im off to the gym for some cross training. Possibly a little bike for cardio, and upper body lift? And core of course, i am determined to get my 6 pack!
On a lesser note, my weight has totally dropped. Body fat as well, so its not just water. I havent gotten my period yet, so im a little concerned. Im going to up calories about 500 per day, and keep an eye on it. If i dont get a cycle soon, off to the dr....

hola! ive skipped a couple days, been crazy busy! today was just a light cross training day, but yesterday i had an awesome run. 7 fast miles, but the killer for me was the sun. i left the ipod at home and just got going. started with the hill, and then just picked up the pace. finished the loop in 48 minutes. not bad for me!
then i went out for fondue! will definatley be going back soon, best resteraunt ever, especially for desert!
lots of riding and gym time this weekend, got a 35 mile week next week!

Long day again. I decided to do my long run today for some reason. 16 miles in the heat. And i ran out of gatorade. But i did get 7 730min miles in! They were awesome. And no pain really. My knees are locking up though, time for my epsom bath! Already did the ice bath.
Was too tired to ride really. Just light hack on Syd.
Headache, I'm definatley dehydrated. Ugh i just wanna go to bed. But tommarow im going out! yay! So possibly sleeping in tommarow and skipping the cross training!

So hot today! Started out at the gym, cross training day. Did my physical therapy exercises, some weight training until my shoulder started popping(made me so mad!) and then an hour on the elliptical for cardio. Decent workout, i wish my shoulder held up better.
Riding was hard today. First off, Sydnie had pus oozing out of her throat when i got there. Turned out she got her head stuck or something, just surface wounds. Then Mannie decided he was a pogo stick, and just jumped around in place for an hour or so(in the heat). Also, he most definatley threw out my back bucking. And then his nose bled. After my appointments, I went back to check, there both fine.
Now just gotta do a little more strength, and some core!

Finally an amazing run! Just 7 miles, but once i past the first hill i took off. Not supposed to be a tempo day, but got 3 6:50's in. No pain from the IT bands, achilles, or knees! Whoo! Celebrated with fage yogurt. First time i tried it, consistency was totally unexpected, but i love it.
Also, ran in (just) a sports bra and shorts. Havent felt comfortable enough to do so in a long time.
Heat came down just as i got home. Rode the horses in the blistering sun. Sydnie took forever, and I worry about Mannie in the heat, so he got off easy;). Smoothie time!

Actually slept in today! Yes, I count 730 as sleeping in. Rest day, just went for a walk/hike through the hills with my dad. I thought i got a tick in my shoe, it was a leaf. Nice. Went off and rode both horses again, and spent forever getting everything cleaned up for when my mom returns. Now must go do the laundry! which may be an issue since our washer doesnt work...

Busy day. Started out with my eight miler(cutback week, no long run for me:(). I decided to do it on the trails, and as usual, I explored new ones. I had no idea of all the farms over here once i cut behind the hills. so I'm running down a dirt road thinking how peaceful, and i spot a big dog up ahead. He runs up, and I was afraid he was going to attack me. Nope, but he followed me home! nice to have a pacer haha. Eventually he went home.
Definatly forced down all kinds of healthy food today, still no appetite. I was hoping to see a friend for lunch, butwith dad instead. Note to self, sesame tofu=bad.
Spent the rest of the day riding. Caught up with old friends, and then did some decent riding. I'm exhausted.
